A classification of cubic bicirculants

چکیده

The well-known Petersen G(5, 2) admits a semi-regular automorphism α acting on the vertex set with two orbits of equal size. This makes it a bicirculant. It is shown that trivalent bicirculants fall into four classes. Some basic properties of trivalent bicirculants are explored and the connection to combinatorial and geometric configurations are studied. Some analogues of the polycirculant conjecture are mentioned.

Cubic symmetric graphs of orders $36p$ and $36p^{2}$

A graph is textit{symmetric}, if its automorphism group is transitive on the set of its arcs. In this paper, we  classifyall the connected cubic symmetric  graphs of order $36p$  and $36p^{2}$, for each prime $p$, of which the proof depends on the classification of finite simple groups.

Classification of vertex-transitive cubic partial cubes

Partial cubes are graphs isometrically embeddable into hypercubes. In this paper it is proved that every cubic, vertex-transitive partial cube is isomorphic to one of the following graphs: K2ƒC2n, for some n ≥ 2, generalized Petersen graph G(10, 3), permutahedron, truncated cuboctahedron, or truncated icosidodecahedron. This complete classification of cubic, vertex-transitive partial cubes, a f...

L groups are almost convex and have a sub - cubic Dehn function

We prove that if the Cayley graph of a finitely generated group enjoys the property Lδ then the group is almost convex and has a sub-cubic isoperimetric function. AMS Classification 20F65; 20F67

A Normal Form for Cubic Surfaces

We consider cubic surfaces with rational coefficients that contain a rational point and satisfy a certain condition regarding their coefficients. Each such cubic surface is shown to be birationally equivalent to a surface of the form z2 = f(x, y), where f(x, y) is a polynomial of degree at most 4. Our method is similar to that which Tate and Silverman used in [2] to put cubic curves into Weiers...
